Galaxy S8 to carry massive 8GB RAM, sport UFS 2.1 flash storage – Report
We have already been hearing good things about the next Samsung flagship bound for next year – the Galaxy S8 – and now, there is a new report coming out of China that gives us an even interesting point of view to what we are expecting next year. According to that data sheet, the Galaxy S8 would be the first one to feature a very big RAM allocation on a flagship, standing it at 8GB, a major improvement over the 6GB which we have been hearing for a while now.
The report is from a post on Weibo and we are trusting it because the author has a good track record when it comes to news of this kind.
From the rumour, also, we got to know that this unit would be running on a chipset made by Samsung themselves using the 10nm process and come with support for UFS 2.1 flash storage. For those that might have missed it, there was also a rumour coming from the South Korean region that there would be two variants of the Galaxy S8, one carrying 5 inch of screen and the second one being a 6 incher.
