Gionee Elife S7 will measure 5.5 mm thin, clears TEENA
Gionee‘s next flagship smartphone which is expected to arrive at the Mobile World Congress on Barcelona next month, has made an early appearance online today as Chinese electronics approval commission, TEENA, cleared the device in anticipation of the scheduled launch.
The listing on TEENA’s website disclosed a lot of information including how thin the smartphone will be since Gionee has outlined it won’t be concentrating major on the sleekness race where performance was lacking. But then, the Gionee Elife S7 is still pretty slim at 5.5 mm — pretty much trimmed than most smartphones out there.
According to filing, the smartphone runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat and has gotten a 148.8 × 72.4 × 5.5mm body while tipping the scale at 126.5 grams. The screen is a 5.2″ 1080p touchscreen panel, with a 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 chipset, 1.7GHz octa-core CPU and 2GB RAM powering the engine. The handset supports 4G LTE and features a 13MP main / 8MP secondary camera duo.
