Gionee Elife S7 unveiled, slimmest dual SIM smartphone
And finally, it’s here. Gionee’s latest Elife S smartphone is here but unfortunately, this device won’t be clinching any titles as world slimmest smartphones as its predecessors did but at leaset Gionee wants you to admit it’s the slimmest dual SIM smartphone around, with a thickness of 5.5mm.
Gionee Elife S7 sails with a 5.2-inch display with 1080p resolution. The smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS smoothly thanks to MediaTek’s “true octa-core” MT6752 processor inside the engine. The handset features 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage but lacks a microSD card slot.
For taking pictures, the Elife S7 sports a 13-megapixel shooter at the back alongside an ample 8MP secondary camera at the front. The device is powered by a non-removable Lithium-Ion 2750mAh battery. You’ll be able to buy the handset in China from the 18th of this month while India is on April 4th at an SRP of €400.
“We believe Elife S7 will bring the future of slim smartphones to the next level. To make ever-slimmer phones, compromising on performance and function is pointless. Manufacturers should offer more features benefiting user experience other than just slimness,” William Lu, President of Gionee Global commented.
