Gionee Pioneer P2S launched at $110
Gionee, not known for making phones annoyingly frequently, has refresshed it’s portfolio in the entry-level market with the introduction a new smartphone.
Gionee Pioneer P2S comes with a 4-inch IPS touchscreen with 400 x 800 pixels of screen resolution. It device comes with a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front0facing snapper.
The Pioneer P2S is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6572 processor and Mali 400MP GPU alongside 0.5GB of RAM.
The smartphone has a 1600mAh battery which Gionee says can last 346 hours on standby; and 12 hours, 30 minutes of making calls on 2G.
The Gionee Pioneer P2S supports Bluetooth, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, 2G and 3G networks, and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
The suggested retail price of the Gionee Pioneer P2S is INR 6,499, that’s barely $110 in USD.
