Gionee reveals Elife E7 will be launched 2nd March at MWC
A few hours ago, the Chinese phone maker posted that it will unveil a new product during the Mobile World Congress on March 2nd, and now, the company has revealed details of the aforesaid device — it’s going to be the Gionee Elife E7.
There’s not much info about the device but following inciting remarks by the company’s marketing chief, Oliver Sha, that “the race to make the slimmest smartphone was getting out of hand. Going so slim is actually not benefiting user experience without the performance to back it up,” Gionee looks like it will not participate aggressively in the slimness craze this time around and might therefore give out a “normal” device with a superb battery life.
However, a couple of pictures leaked by an insider shows an alleged Gionee Elife E7 looking all skinny yet:
