Gionee S11 gets TENAA certification
Gionee has in the past couple of days launched two new smartphones into the market, the Gionee M7 and the M7 Power smartphones with the Steel 2 Plus released as the M7 Power in Thailand.
However, a recent spotting has indicated that the tech company is planning on yet another device to couple up with the release of the 6.01-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display on the Gionee M7.
A recent spotting on certification website, TENAA, revealed that the upcoming device which has been dubbed the Gionee S11 will come into the market sporting an octa-core processor under the hood clocked at a speed of 2.5GHz.
Other specs as listed by the certification website as regards the Gionee S11 indicates that the upcoming device will be powered by a MediaTek MT6763 processor which is expected to be an upgrade to the Helio P23 processor.
The listing also hints that the S11 will come packing a dual camera setup both on the rear and front panel and arrive with a 6.01-inch FHD+ FullView AMOLED display with the 2.5D curved glass on top.
The MediaTek processor will come paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB ROM with microSD card slot for memory expansion to as much as 128GB.
Camera has been pegged at 16MP + 8MP dual camera setup on the front and a 20MP + 8MP camera sensor on the back panel all powered by a 3,600mAh battery.
