Google confirms that the Pixel Launcher won’t make it to other Nexus devices
Even before the launch of the next generation smartphones of Google, there has already been a long standing rumour that there would be a Nexus Launcher and now, this has changed to become the Pixel Launcher as those are the smartphones that launched instead of the Nexus to get a successor in the market.
Like has always been common to the Nexus line-up, whenever there is an update to a new version of the Google device, it is bound to be rolled out to the old versions too in a matter of weeks but Google has confirmed that it would be leaving its old Nexus smartphones without any support as regards the Pixel Launcher.
However, from the announcement that has been made by the company, it looks like this would hold for only a certain period of time after which they would be considering the other devices so we should stay put but in their own words, they have announced that unless the device launches under the same family as the recently unveiled Pixel and Pixel XL, there is no guarantee that there would be the Pixel Launcher.
