Google confirms the “Halo” issue with Pixel cameras, promises a fix soon
When Google were making their new Pixels, they would have put a lot of things into consideration to make sure that they came out perfect and as such, would be able to justify whatever price tag they decided to slap on it.
When the devices then launched to the much awaited fans of the old Nexus line-up and as well, those that wanted to try something new for a change, we were greeted by a lot of impressive specs out of the box but all this is soon to be touched by a small glint of stain as some of the users of the Pixel have reported a small problem with the cameras.
While the camera units that were used for the devices are very impressive, that has not stopped it from being affected by something best known on photography as the halo effect and users have reported that even when they were not taking shots in the sun, the halo found a way to creep in and spoil the whole fun.
Google has now come out for the first time to acknowledge the presence of the issue and although they are yet to give a timeline for the fix, are reportedly working on something.
