Google could debut the Nougat 7.1 on their upcoming Pixel smartphones

September 08, 2016

When the Android Nougat 7.0 was nearing its release date, one of the things that we were also expecting alongside was the announcement of the launch date of the upcoming smartphones that would be the initiative of Google to carry this new software.

After the launch of the new software version and even, some few weeks before that, a device started to make the rounds as the first one to make use of this platform and that happened to be none other than the new and upcoming LG V20.

This comes as a shock to many because the search engine giant is usually the first to offer their own software in the stock Android way.
However, Google has now found a way to turn things around and would make sure that their own smartphones are the first ever units to run the Android Nougat 7.1, an upgrade that we expect would carry better and improved features and even, be more stable than the ordinary 7.0.

This leak comes courtesy of a trusted name in the game – LlabTooFeR – and while we should still be taking this with a pinch of salt, there is a very high possibility that this is truly how things play out. If this leak turns out to be legit, then Google would have shown the world that there are many ways to be the first at anything.
