Google’s Samsung Chromebook debuts in India at Rs. 26990
Google has been showing a lot of interest in India of recent, with the launch of HP and Acer Chromebook computers back in October which looked much like a success, the search engine giant is back in India with another Chromebook.
The Samsung Chromebook has been launched in India by Google. Featuring an 11.6″ display with 1366×768 pixels resolution at 135 PPI(which is not bad for a mini computer), the Chromebook is priced at 26990 Indian Rupees(roughly $440).
Samsung Chromebook is powered by a dual-core Exynos 5000 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, and 2GB of DDR3L RAM. It packs 16GB of internal storage, which of course, you can expand via USB flash drives and memory cards even though you’ll get 100GB of free Google Drive storage for two year. It also features a VGA(0.3MP) webcam.
Coming to connectivity you’ll get a USB 3.0 port and a second USB port for USB 2.0 connections. The device packs support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. On paper, Google says that the Chromebook’s 4080mAh battery can withstand 7 hours of non-stop usage. The Samsung Chromebook is retailed at Rs. 26990 even though their are goodies and data discounts when bought from Airtel and Tikona.
