Hands-on of LG/Audi watch showcased at CES
LG Electronics, no stranger to smartwatches and curved technology, teamed up with car maker Audi to produce a smartwatch which was displayed at the recently-ended CES 2015.
We take a look at the roundish watch as it runs smoothly on WebOS instead of Google’s Android OS which LG would naturally choose on a normal day. Samsung, who uses its own Tizen operating system on its smartwatch products, seems to be who LG is following in the surprise development.
The watch in the video isn’t going to be available for purchase until at least early 2016, a source told us. However, the LG G Watch R is a similar alternative which has runs on Android Wear.
LG bagged dozens of awards at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) due to excellence displayed by LG products like the showcased smartwatch. However, the curved G Flex2 smartphone topped the amount of awards won by a single device at the event.
