How to become eligible for Airtel N1,500 for 4GB (2 in 1) BIS data plan
I brought good news to you guys today, Airtel Nigeria has re-introduced the N1,500 for 4GB data plan with 60 days validity.
With this bonus offer, Airtel allows you to get the Airtel ‘Unlimited’ BIS 2GB Data in two folds by just paying for one ( N1,500).
Even though this data plan is for BlackBerry users, the interesting part is that it also works on non-BB devices. I mean it works on Nokia, iPhones/iPad, Androids , Windows, and not forgetting the Blackberry phones. You can as well use it to browse on your PC.
The bad news is that not all Airtel users are eligible for the 2 in 1 offer. It seems Airtel randomly selects users who are tuned to be eligible.
Some Airtel users made a complaint that they were unable to subscribe to the 2 in 1 offer due to their ineligibility. So what makes users eligible for the offer? Only Airtel knows.
However, I have a solution to make you become eligible if you are ineligible.
How to Become Eligible For Airtel 2 in 1 Unlimited BIS Plan
Using your Airtel SIM which you want to make eligible, dial *440*440#
Wait for a few seconds and you should receive a text message which accepts your request and that’s all, you are eligible.
If your SIM is still ineligible after the above procedure, wait for 48 hours and then try again.
How To Subscribe to Airtel 2 in 1 Unlimited BIS offer
Now that you are eligible for this offer, load N1,500 on your Airtel line and then dial *440*161#. You’ll receive 4GB of data plan which is valid for 60 days. Don’t forget to set your APN to ‘ internet.ng.airtel.com’, while password and username will be set as ‘internet’.
If You Are Still Ineligible
Hey, haven’t you tried enough already? If your SIM is still not able to subscribe to the offer then you have to chill down a bit.
You can subscribe to the normal Airtel 2GB BIS Unlimited plan by just *440*16#. It’s still the same N1500 except it’s 2GB and the validity is 30 days.
