HP planning to roll out their Windows Mobile update on 13th September
While Sony is still having issues with rolling out their own Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary update, HP has already started to make plans and they have also revealed their schedule for rolling out the latest software release to their high end Windows mobile, the Elite x3.
In a FAQ page today, the company released a very detailed statement that gave information on when the Elite x3 would get the anniversary update, with their date set at the 13th of September. Looking at this kind of timeline closely, this indicates that the software would start rolling out just a day after the smartphone itself becomes available in the stores.
With the anniversary update, HP would look to fix some minor issues that are facing the smartphone, one of such being the fact that the phone takes a long time to go off and also, takes a lengthy amount of time to register the SIM information.
One of the key features of the Elite x3 that would make it appealing to business minds is the new security feature called Windows Information Protection which would ensure that Corporate Data can be protected in such a way that you would be able to block, log or alert you to any attempt by anyone to access your sensitive data.
