HTC Butterfly 2 is in the works
The Butterfly series was thought to have been discontinued by HTC but it all but seems the Taiwanese company has not thrown in the towel yet.
HTC Butterfly 2 was recently spotted on the website of NCC, Taiwan’s communications’ electronics approvals’ authority, an equivalent of FCC in Taiwan.
The profile page of the Butterfly 2 is was in Chinese and because our Chinese is quite rusty (yours truly can barely understand anything written in Chinese), the only thing we could ascertain from the website was that the device will support 4G LTE.
However, when we looked around in search of other specs of the HTC Butterfly 2, we found out that the device might have a 5-inch Full HD screen with a Snapdragon 800 processor, plus there’s an image of the device on the Internet already.
That’s all we know about HTC Butterfly‘s successor for now. We will update you once we get hold of any more info.
