HTC CEO Peter Chou steps down
Big changes are going on at the top floors of HTC’s glass house in Taiwan as CEO Peter Chou surrenders his leadership mantle. The new Chief Executive role was handed over to co-founder and chairperson of the company, Cher Wang.
Chou isn’t done with the phone maker yet. He will head a new department of the company called the HTC Future Development Lab which will oversee research and development of new products.
Peter Chou alongside Cher Wang (the new CEO) and H.T.Cho founded HTC in 1997 as an original equipment and design manufacturer for other companies and headquartered in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
