HTC One A9 variant, the A9w, gets TENAA certification
HTC is trying to release another version of the much acclaimed HTC One A9 device and this variant has just been to the Chinese TENAA office and has come out successfully with its certification intact.
Dubbed the HTC One A9w, the TENAA certification has failed to give away what the “w” in the new variant’s naming stands for. Although images were released, there is really not much to look at if you’ve been looking at the HTC One A9 for a while as it looks exactly the same.
Not just being twins on the surface, the devices seem to share a lot of similarities among themselves. The One A9w also features a 5 inch of screen and a resolution set at 1080 x 1920.
There’s an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU running in the device and the CPU capacity is set at 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It should be recalled that the original HTC One A9 comes in two variants that are defined by both the CPU carrying capacity and internal storage memory, one having 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage (sold in the US markets) and the other sporting 2GB of RAM plus 16GB internal memory.
The One A9w comes with a 13MP rear camera and a 4MP front camera, supporting 4G LTE likewise. A big difference in these devices has to be the fact that the memory of the One A9 can be expanded to a massive 2 tera-bytes while that of the One A9w can only be expanded as far as 128GB.
