HTC One E9+ dual SIM launches in Malaysia for RM1,899 ($480)
If you thought that HTC’s declining value in the recent weeks will halt the company’s global activities, you’ve been misled. The Taiwanese phone maker had their stock fall to a 10-year low on August 10, shortly after their quarterly earnings call on Aug 6 which revealed massive losses in operating revenue during the 2nd quarter of 2015.
Coming with a dual SIM slot and 9.61 mm-thin aluminum casing, the One E9+ has a 5.2-inch Quad HD touchscreen display, complete with Gorilla Glass protection and Super LCD3 technology,
Under the hood, the handset is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795T CPU alongside 3GB of RAM and expandable 32GB of storage. The handset runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and gets backed by a sealed 2840mAh Li-Po battery for electricity.
For taking photos, the HTC One E9+ has a 20-megapixel rear shooter and front-facing 4-megapixel wide angle camera for taking quality selfies.
“HTC understands that asking what a customer wants is not enough as we need to offer our own vision on how to make the experience better, and the new HTC One E9+ attests to this philosophy that we are upholding,” said HTC Malaysia Sdn Bhd country manager Cheong Wah Tong.
He added: “We are confident the market will respond well to the new HTC One E9+ as it offers the best of both worlds – stylish outlook and finishing, coupled with state-of-the-art mobile technologies designed for both work and leisure.”
