HTC promises budget smartphone with 18:9 aspect ratio codenamed ‘Breeze’
Taiwanese tech company, HTC, has been hinted to be planning a possible release of another smartphone which will come into the market as a budget smartphone with the latest display trend, 18:9 aspect ratio.
The smartphone company which like every other ones are holding back till the Mobile World Congress 2018 event is also expected to launch the HTC U12 device at the event.
However, insider information from a reliable source, Evan Blass, has revealed that the tech company may be planning on the possible release of a new mid-range budget device.
The mysterious smartphone is expected to come into the market with a model number ‘2Q5W1’ as spotted on benchmarking website, Geekbench.
The device will come into the market with the codename Breeze and come into the market with a 5.5-inch display.
The leaked specs sheet is expected to come into the market with 2GB of RAM paired with 16GB of ROM.
On the camera front, the device will come into the market packing a 13MP main camera setup on the back panel and a 5MP selfie camera on the front panel.
The upcoming smartphone will come into the market with an undisclosed MediaTek chipset under the hood paired with a 2,730mAh battery.
