Huawei Ascend P6 no longer thinnest phone in the world – welcome the 5.75mm thick Vivo X3
So Huawei thought their Ascend P6 would hold the title of the world’s thinnest smartphone for at least one year? The 6.2mm thick smartphone with a 4.7″ display couldn’t even hold the crown for six months, not even three. And that’s because there’s a new hero in town.
Vivo X3 is a 5″ display with a 5.75mm thick body. Come September 1st when this sleek monster will start shipping, it will become the world’s thinnest smartphone (and world’s thinnest phone too). The Chinese-made phone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera (just like the Huawei Ascend P6) . It runs Android 4.2.2 on a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.5GHz and 1 gigabyte of RAM.
A 16GB of non-expandable storage and a 2,000mAh battery keeps the Vivo X3 running. Vivo starts shipping the X3 ships to China on September 1st for ¥2,498 ($408).
