8″ Huawei Honor Tablet can make calls and costs only $184
Huawei has announced it’s new “Honor Tablet” and the device has dropped like a bomb in Malaysia.
Sporting a 16:10 (1280 x 800 pixels) touchscreen display that measures 8 inches diagonal, the Huawei Honor Tablet is made of plastic while the back cover is made of a light aluminum alloy.
Powering the tablet is a gig of RAM as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 MSM8212 chipset with 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and Adreno 302 graphics processor.
The tab features 16GB of storage but there’s a memory card slot by the side where you can conveniently slot in a microSD card for a a decent 64GB of extra storage.
You can make and receive calls with the Honor Tablet. Thanks to the built-in 3G-enabled SIM card slot. Pricing for the slate is RM 599 in Malaysia — that’s about $184 in USD. Pre-orders start today while VMALL.my states the tablet will be at your door by 14 days.
