Huawei Maimang 5 to be Huawei’s next flagship
After the release of the Huawei Mate 8, which still goes on to retain its status as the company’s sole flagship phablet even after 8 months of production, the Huawei brand released some other devices into the market but all these were just to cater for the needs of the midrange and low end users.
However, a new device that has been leaked and is being touted around china looks to be the one to take this baton from the Mate 8 and replace the hugely successful device as the company’s next flagship device.
Named the Huawei Maimang 5, the device is expected to have the same build as the mate 8 but pack a different lot of other hot specifications under its hood, and if the rumour mills are anything to go by, this device should be expected soon. With plans for the unveiling guessed to be on the 14th of July, the device is expected to be sold in the Chinese market only unless Huawei wishes to make modifications to make it suitable for the international market after a while also. To be built with a sleek combination of glass and metal, a fingerprint scanner is expected to feature on the back which helps to guess the preference of the android 6 Marshmallow on the phone. Also, there is the possibility of variants with one making use of the snapdragon 650, and the other, a snapdragon 652 chipset.
There will be a CPU with capacity of 4GB and an internal storage space of 64GB. With a 4k-shooting 16MP rear camera, the device looks like something to really watch out for.
