Huawei Mate 10 to possibly arrive with dock for desktop UI access
Ahead of the official release of the Huawei Mate 10 device which is expected to come into the market being the first smartphone to feature the Kirin 970 processor from the tech company, Huawei had indeed showed off the device in a leak which surfaced online yesterday, however, fresh information suggests that the device may be looking to borrow a note from the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus in that it might come with a Desktop access dock.
Recall that the Samung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus were launched with the Samsung DeX feature which allows both smartphones access to desktop PC connection.
The Mate 10 flagship device has also been hinted to be planning a possible reenactment of the feat.
The MirAxess CEO, Yanis Anteur, took to his social media page to claim that the Mate 10 will come into the market with a PC style functionality.
Confirming the detail, Anteur said: “For now on we recommend to use the Mirabook with the Galaxy S8 for DeX and Windows Phones for Continuum.”
He added: “I also have a secret news for you (sic), the new Huawei smartphones announced on 16 October will have a DeX like feature and should be compatible with the Mirabook.”
