Huawei Mate 9 could be launched in December, new teaser suggests
Not one and not twice have we heard reports coming out of China that the upcoming Mate 9 handset from Huawei wold be one hell of a beast and given the way that Huawei can just come out of the blue to impress and surprise at any point in time, we are pushed to believe this news.
From what we have heard so far, Huawei would be making an improvement on their Kirin 950 chipset and relaunch it as Kirin 960 for the Mate 9 on which they would make sure that the camera unit on the back is a dual 20MP unit.
Now, a teaser image for the smartphone has shown up on Weibo but on closer observation, anyone would agree with us that what is seen is none other than the Mate 8 from last year so the design of the smartphone can be ruled out to be fake.
However, we can’t just wave off the specs that were accompanying the teaser with a back hand wave because back in April, a December launch was called for the smartphone too and an analyst already predicted the use of 20MP rear cameras. December is a possibility to look at now, isn’t it?
