Huawei MediaPad M5 with 8.4-inch, 10.8-inch variants unveiled
Huawei has officially unveiled its high-end Android tablets which comes in two configurations based on the screen sizes and other specs.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 comes with interesting features which tips it as one of the premium tablets in the market as the and of course comes with an option of the stylus pen.
Both options of the tablet, the 8.4-inch and 10.8-inch display comes packing virtually identical specs asides the battery capacity.
Under the hood, both devices pack a display resolution pegged at 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and are both protected with a 2.5D glass.
Under the metal unibody design runs the latest Android 8.0 Oreo OS with EMUI 8.0 on top and is driven by Huawei’s in-house Kirin 960 processor, same as loaded on the Huawei P10 and Mate 9 devices.
Paired with the processor is 4GB of RAM and as much as 128GB ROM with additional slot fo r the microSD card for further memory expansion.
On the battery front, the bigger variant comes with a 7,500mAh Li-Po power bank while the smaller variant packs a 5,100mAh battery with both variants supporting fast charging (9V at 2A) over USB-C.
For the camera, the variants comes with 13MP sensors on the back panel while the front panel houses an 8MP sensor.
