Huawei P20, P20 Plus press renders leak
While the tech world awaits the official unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus smartphones which are both expected to dominate the Mobile World Congress, MWC 2018, Huawei seems to be plotting a strategy of its own as the upcoming Huawei P20 and P20 plus smartphones have leaked online in their press renders.
The Huawei P family which has been revealed to comprise the P20, P20 Plus, and the P20 Lite will according to the tech company be launching in March as the Chinese manufacturer opted to sit the MWC event out.
However, the latest leak of the prime P20 family members came at a great time for the company as the leaks show off some screen notches on top.
The smartphones will come into the market packing smaller bezzels and a fingerprint scanner on the front panel for the P20. The P20 Plus will however have its fingerprint button on the back panel in order to allow for more cut on the bottom screen bezel.
The P20 Plus also will come into the market as the only phone in the series to sport the much-leaked tri-lens rear camera setup and it appears the P20 Pro might also be getting a similar feature.
However, a separate leak confirms that the P20 Pro will come into the market with a 6.0-inch displaty and a display resolution pegged at 2,160 x 1,080 pixels.
Under the hood of the P20 Pro according to the leak is the Huawei’s own processor, the Kirin 970 SoC, paired with memory configuration variants of 6GB and 8GB of RAM, while the onboard storage space may be pegged at variants of 128GB and 256GB and running on a 4,000 mAh battery.
For the camera, the tri-camera system may comprise of a 12 MP color sensor, a 16 MP black and white sensor, and a 16 MP telephoto lens while the front panel will host an 8MP camera sensor.
The P20 Pro which may also be the P20 Plus will most likely debut with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and sell for about CNY 5,899 in China.
