Huawei starts to roll out Nougat beta update to the Honor 5C
Huawei wants to bring the Nougat to their Honor 5C smartphone and the first step in that direction has already been taken. Today, the Asian OEM has commenced the beta programme for the Nougat on the Honor 5C unit, and those that have signed up for this kind of programme can apply for it now.
Currently, this beta test is being carried out in India and we have no idea whether beta testers would be recruited in other parts of the world soon too.
For the beta programme, there’s expected to be two batches. The first batch would be made up of 50 users and these ones would be tasked with testing the first release. The second batch would, however, consist of 100 users who would be testing the second release. For you to apply for the Honor 5C Nougat beta programme, make sure your unit has its model number starting with NEM-L22.
