Huawei sub-brand, Honor, announces 8 inch MediaPad 2
While the Honor sub-brand of Huawei removed the veils off the face of their Honor X today, offering us a mid-range device that offered a dual camera setup on the back and launched their Kirin 655 chipset, they have also gone on to announce one more device and as far as names go, these one would be named Media Pad 2 with 8 inches.
While this one is expected to go on sale in China in the month of October too, the device which still remains with the screen that we have mentioned above is expected to come out of the box with features such as 3GB of RAM in a QUALCOMM snapdragon 616 chipset.
Carrying an octa core processor, this one would be having either of 16GB or 32GB internal storage space and while they can both be expanded, there is the additional promise of an 8MP rear camera which coms with its own LED flash mechanism and as well, a 2MP on the front.
Drawing power from a 4800mAh battery unit, the pricing information sets the lowest price at CNY 999 which would be the asking price on the 16GB+Wi-Fi model. For the others in terms of the 32GB+Wi-Fi and the 32GB+LTE model, they would be sold for CNY 1299 and CNY 1499 respectively.
