Huawei’s Kirin 950 beats Snapdragon 810 and Exynos 7420 on GeekBench

That might be the thing on most of your minds when you hear that Huawei is probably seriously in the works with another device that has even visited the GFX Bench. Lately, Huawei has been working so hard to make the brand a success and following the launch of their very powerful Kirin 950 chipset yesterday, and very soon the launch of the flagship Huawei Mate 8, Huawei is set to stay on top of the Chinese OEM ladder.
Returning to the GFX Bench reports, the product appeared with a model number of NXT-AL10 and according to the specifications released, this might just be the Huawei Mate 8 we’ve been waiting for. The test shows that the device is running on the new Kirin 950 chipset and it seems to be powerful.
Just yesterday though, a device with the same model number appeared on GeekBench and the test results failed to agree in the clocking of the device’s frequency. While GFX Bench gave a reading of 1.2GHz, GeekBench holds it down at 1.8GHz. Either ways, we should be expecting a processor frequency value between this.
The CPU has been leaked likewise to carry a massive 2.2GHz per core and with tests so far, the Kirin 950 has beat both the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 hands down and left Samsung’s newest chipset – the Exynos 7420 – in its wake likewise.
Let’s just sit back and expect Huawei’s powerhouse, shall we?
