Huawei’s TalkBand B1 will allow you make/receive calls off your smartphone
Just like many western companies are doing, Huawei has launched it’s foray into the electronic wearable market, with a smartband dubbed the TalkBand B1.
Huawei claims it’s TalkBand B1 electronic wristband will last up to 6 days on a 2-hour full charge charge. However, that’s mainly because the device has only a tiny 1.4-inch OLED display. The band is also dust and water resistant (IP57-certified).
For starters, the Huawei TalkBand B1 will connect with your Android or iOS smartphone which has Huawei’s TalkBand app installed — you can install this from Google Play or App Store. Support ranges for devices with Android 4.0 or and iOS 5.0 above.
The band has Bluetooth, NFC and a USB port that slides out from the tip of the handle. The product is available in several countries including the United Arab Emirates where it’s being retailed at Dh499/$138.
