[Infographic] Samsung compares earlier Galaxy Notes with the new Note 4
Three years ago, the first Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone was unveiled amid heavy criticism of a “too large” and “over-sized” phablet.
Fast-forward to 2014, the fourth generation Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was announced on Wednesday, getting even bigger and then, the hostile reception has turned to anticipation and excitement from thousands of customers who can’t wait to lay their trembling hands on the new piece of creativity.
Note that the first-generation Galaxy Note had a 5.3″ display while the latest GN4 has a 5.7″ . With that, it’s needless to say that the world is going towards a larger, larger smartphone crave. Even the first iPhone which was available as at the time of the Note 1 release was having a 3.5″ display. But then, the upcoming iPhone 6 which is due to go official in a few days time will pack a 4.7″ display, with a larger 5.5″ iPhone 6L expected towards December or by early 2015.
However, even with a Quad HD display, a 16MP OIS camera and a faster processor, many users don’t believe the Note 4 is much of an upgrade from last year’s Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and many users have voiced their opinions to hold on to their 2013 property. And that’s why Samsung created this piece of information below.
