Introducing Elephone’s P9000 Smartphone
Elephone’s P9000 now follows the market mobile trend in Android competition for metal-bodied handsets, boasting a metal chassis that’s backed by a plastic panel.
You will soon discover that the phone edge has subtle effect, the same with the device buttons and its inputs. On its right side is where the power key is placed together with its volume, opposite side has a once press button to open application conveniently. So by pressing it long the handset will be automatically in silent mode, but this is not the traditional mute function as what other device has.
You can see on the top a ubiquitous 3.5mm jack designed for headset, while on bottom is where you can see the reversible Type C USB data and its charging socket.
Spinning around with P9000 it reveals plastic panel on the rear which has texture of what most premium Smartphone has. It has a matte effect in the surface, so when you see it on the first glance it will look like soft, but it’s not. It is like a very fine sand paper that was embedded on the device cover. I personally like this, since this makes the grip super easy, but it picks up scratches and even marks easily.
