Leak details the Exynos 8895 chipset coming to the Galaxy S8, could be made in variants
The Galaxy S8 just has a few more months – two to be precise – in the pipeline before it starts to hits us and this means that we get to see some of the information that is pertaining to the development and build of the unit leak in tons at around this point in time. In the latest related leak to the Galaxy S8, there is a new report coming out of China that does well to suggest that the new chipsets being developed by Samsung could be coming with two to three variations to itself.
Already, we expect the Galaxy S8 to run on an Exynos 8895 chipset for some regions and now, it seems that they have added the production of one called 8895M and another, 8895V, to the total mix. Both of them would be developed with a total of eight cores and use four Exynos M2 cores each, all placed at 2.5GHz. The other four cores requirements would be met by Cortex A53 core specifications which would be able to achieve a clock speed of 1.7GHz.
Both of them would be different when it comes to their graphics capabilities, with the 8895M carrying a 20-core graphics version and its brother using two cores less with the 18-core version. Both chipsets would be equipped with support for LTE Cat 16.
