Leak shows that Xiaomi is in the works over MIUI 9
From Weibo, we already have picture proof that Xiaomi is surely in the works over the next iteration of their software, the MIUI 9. This one would be designed and developed to be based on the latest version and flavour of the Android platform to be released, the Nougat 7.0, and it would surely provide users with a bump over the MIUI 8 that was powered by the Marshmallow version of the Android software.
Unfortunately though, all we could glean from the leak was just the teaser image and as well, the build number that smartphones carrying this latest one would be changed to and the answer is 9 6.9.23.
From a report, there was a detailed list of devices created which showed those handsets that might be getting the latest MIUI 9 on them and of these, we have the already existent line of smartphones from Xiaomi.
While we are expecting the user interface to become available from December of this year, there is the chance of it rolling out to the units of Redmi Note 3 and 4, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi 3/ 3S/ 3A and for the Redmi series to round up, the Redmi Pro. Going to the Mi variants, we are bound to see it launch on Mi 4s/ 4c/ 4i, Mi 5, Mi Max, Mi Note and the Mi Pad 2.
