Lenovo Vibe S1 goes official with two selfie cameras, 64-bit CPU
The word selfie, albeit new, has become so popular that virtually every recent smartphone come along with a dedicated camera for it. The new Lenovo Vibe S1 has two front-facing cameras and a whole bunch of added features for taking quality selfies.
One of the key features of the Vibe S1’s selfie cameras is Cut Out, a tool that lets you remove people and objects from your photos at will. “Blur allows refocusing anywhere on the seflie (up to 3 focal plains) or adding a bokeh photo effect to the background to stylize a selfie or simply to get rid of a photo bomber.”
Addressing the spec sheet proper, the Vibe S1 comes with a 5″ 1080p display (PPI of 441), 7.8mm-thin metal body, LTE, dual nano SIM slot, 3GB of RAM and octa-core MediaTek MT6752 chipset. The handset has a 128GB microSD card slot it shares with the second SIM compartment while 32GB of storage is in-built.
Lenovo Vibe S1 will cost $299, and that’s pretty fair for a device that has a 13-megapixel main camera and front-facing camera with two sensors (8MP and 2MP). Finally, the smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and can last up to 240 hours on standby, thanks to its non-removable 2,500mAh battery.
