Lenovo’s 6.8″ phablet just passed across TEENA
Lenovo is prepping something really huge. The Chinese phone maker just had China’s telecoms certification body, TEENA, approve a mobile phone with a gigantic 6.8″ display in their name.
Lenovo isn’t new to large handsets nonetheless. We’ve seen their Golden Warrior Note 8 with 6-inch display but it seems the upcoming device will stand taller than everything else by the time it officially arrives in the market.
The 6.8″ Lenovo handset was marked PB1-770N though we suspect this moniker isn’t the device’s final name. The screen has a Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution which works out to a 324 pixel per inch figure.
The PB1-770N measures 186.6 x 96.6 x 7.7 mm and tips the scale at 230 grams. There’s a 13MP camera on board and 5MP front-facing selfie snapper. The handset will use 2GB of RAM and 32GB storage which can further be expanded to 128GB by use of microSD card slot.
Finally, the phone is listed as having a battery with 3,500mAh capacity which isn’t too great for a 6.8″ device. There’s no single word on the device’s pricing and availability yet.
