LeTv planning invasion of Indian smartphone market
Chinese smartphone company who have so far unveiled the Le 1, Le 1 Pro, Le Max and the recently announced Le 1s is all set and ready to enter the Indian smartphone market come early 2016. The company in an emailed statement confirmed its plans and stressed that it will look to replicate its content-device ecosystem in India.
“Letv will not only bring its exciting device to the country, but also its impressive content based Eco User Interface that will provide consumers with access to Letv’s unique and world class content-device based ecosystem that has found great success in Chinese markets” said the company in the statement.
The recently announced Le 1s features a fingerprint scanner at the back just below the rear-facing camera for security of the smartphone and also contains the new Octa-core MediaTek Helio X processor clocked at 2.2GHz speed.
The smartphone also runs an Android 5.0 Lollipop based EUI 5.5 UI with other notable features such as the support of Reversible USB Type-C with fast charging SpeedVolt technology that offers an approximate 3.5 hours of playback on a 5-minutes charge.
The dual-SIM smartphone which supports both nano-SIM and micro-SIM spots a 5.5-inch Full HD at 1080×1920 pixels ISP display running on a 3GB RAM and 32GB of in-built storage space. It also has an impressive 13MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front facing camera with connectivity features such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, Micro-USB, 3G and 4G LTE.
