LG G Flex becomes available in the US
The world’s second-ever phone with flexible display has cleared FCC approvals and is now available online for at least $1000.
LG announced the G Flex with a curved body (and screen), weeks after Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Round.
Negri Electronics listed the G Flex listed on its website for pre-order at $1109.50 per unit and you can choose from either KT Telecom or SK Telecom models.
Overseas Electronics is currently accepting and shipping orders for the LG G Flex, you can get a unit for $1049.99. Overseas Electronics says it’s version of the G Flex supports only 4G 850MHz and 1800MHz frequencies, which is not supported by US network operators.
The LG G Flex was announced back in October with a curved 720p 6-inch screen, curved 160.5 x 81.6 x 8.7 mm body that weighs 177 grams, 13-megapixel camera, 3500mAh battery, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset and 2GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and you can read more on LG G Flex specifications and features.
