LG G Flex2 launches in Korea for 800,000 won
In South Korea, LG’s multi award-winning curved smartphone launched today at the smashing price of… 800,000 Korean won. But do not panic, 800,000 won means just $737 — not very cheap but not expensive compared to how much other flagships are selling.
The LG G Flex2 is powered by the controversial 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset by Qualcomm alongside 3GB of RAM. The handset supports 128GB of memory cards and runs on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop with an LG G3-like UI atop.
Sporting a 5.5-inch 1080p display, the G Flex2 is much smaller than its predecessor, the LG G Flex which was launched with a 6″ touchscreen. The price difference is also hefty as the latter sold for about $960 upon release in April last year.
