LG G3 Prime with cranked-up power said to be in the works
Not satisfied by the internals of the G3 (though the outside is a real beauty), LG is said to be working on a more powerful version of the phone that will feature the all new Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset.
The Snapdragon 805 processor will provide the LG G3 all the power it requires for it’s Quad HD screen and the processor should bring it’s much-hyped 255mb/s downlink speed to the new phone.
Reports say that the more powerful G3 might just be named the LG G3 Prime, especially now LG has been playing around with patenting several “Prime” names for their future devices.
The possibility of shoving a 4GB RAM into the G3 Prime hasn’t been ruled out yet, as that’s what the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will likely have, and both LG and Samsung like to poke each other in the eye with competition.
