LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy S5 to get Android 5.0 this year
Both Korean phone giants has separately confirmed that their respective flagships will receive Google’ newly released version of Android — Android 5.0 aka Lollipop.
As for the LG flagship, the company’s spokesman told tech blog TechTastic that the LG G3 will soon receive Android 5.0 update. Though a specific date wasn’t given, the spokesman said the timeframe won’t exceed the length of this year.
On the other hand, Samsung will also roll out Android Lollipop updates for their flagship smartphone too. The Samsung Galaxy S5 was seen running the full version of the OS even before officially released it. The report says that Sammy will release the ROM by December.
