LG G5 rumoured to be launched early 2016
LG may be releasing their next Flagship device, the LG G5 early next year as sources have it that the smartphone which is to come in a Metal clad unibody design will feature an all metal case in competition with the likes of Apple and Samsung devices.
LG smartphones have boasted of plastic designs over time although offering a rear panel made of leather on the G4 which overall gave the smartphone the premium look.
The smartphone company in August announced it will be launching a metallic back variant of the LG G4 device which came into the market with a fine hammer-crafted design made from metal as promised. Speculation however exist that if LG goes on to adopt the metal unibody design for the much expected flagship G5 device, the device may be spotting a non-removable battery and as well a memory card slot.
Know Your Mobile in a collection of rumours has speculated the possible specs of the upcoming LG G5 device. The smartphone may feature a 5.7 inch IPS display with a screen resolution of 3840×2160 pixels which makes the smartphone one of the very few devices to feature the 4K resolution display as found on the Sony Xperia Z5. The smartphone may also feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset or a MediaTek Helio X20 chipset with a distinctive Iris scanner in place of the fingerprint sensor which is now common to most smartphones.
