LG G5 units on AT&T network gets Nougat serving
In what seems like it would be an eternity for the users of the LG G5 on the AT&T network, the users of this unit have now had their carrier push out the Nougat update to them also. This is coming after a number of other US carriers have already rolled out the big 7 to the like units on their own networks. From the November of last year, AT&T has started to test the Nougat on the LG G5 units that it sold and since then, we have already seen the same update hit units supported by Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular.
This update is being released as an OTA bump and for those that want to make the switch, be advised that it would cost you nothing less than 1.5GB. This means that you better get a strong Wi-Fi network to connect to if you would minimise cost on normal data.
Additionally, the same update comes with the security patch for the month of January. All of these sums up to the build number NRD90U, and LG software version number H82020j.
