LG will produce Google Nexus 5 (2015), from scratch
Google has just lowered the pricing of the 2014 Nexus 6 at the Google Play Store, and that has sparked big rumors regarding the arrival of the 2015 successor of the Android flagship.
According to a new report, LG Electronics from South Korea will be making the 2015 model of Google Nexus. Allegedly dubbed LG Google Nexus 5 (2015), the smartphone is said to be designed from scratch by LG, with the source citing that there will be no resemblance between this and the phone maker’s flagship LG G4.
The 2013 Google Nexus 5 which was also manufactured by LG.
Some time ago, we heard that Huawei will be taking charge of producing this year’s Nexus smartphone. At some point another set of gossip wanted us to believe that two Nexus smartphones will be outed this year: a low-budget one from Huawei and a higher-priced version from another OEM. The latest report doesn’t confirm nor dismiss this claim.
Much hasn’t been made known about the 2015 Nexus models in regards to specifications and release date(s) but Google is expected to introduce the devices at the same time with Android M to keep up with its yearly custom.
