LG V20 may have a rear camera glass panel prone to shattering
The LG V20 still remains the first device that would run on the Nougat platform and beating even the Google devices of this year to the punch is no little feat at all.
While this has gotten a lot of people excited, there have been some buyers who although, love their devices, have some reservations on some of the things that they have seen.
On the back camera panel, there has been some sort of glass coating like we have always seen on devices and it comes with a thin film of coating. When this one was subjected to strength tests in a YouTube video, it held pretty well but when the film on the back was take off, it was another story entirely and this is the same thing that the early users have to complain about.
Apparently, while the glass on the back panel could hold itself when it comes to the issue of scratch, it is very susceptible to shattering so if you would be getting one of these units, it would be better for you to just leave the protective film coating on it else, you risk getting the glass of your rear camera shattered.
Don’t say we never helped you on anything now.
