Look! A “Nokia” phone with Microsoft branding
Earlier this week, we showed you internal documents detailing Microsoft’s plans to switch the light on Nokia phones. Today, we’ve seen a picture of an unnamed phone with Microsoft’s name on.
The Redmond, USA, outfit wants to shut down the Nokia naming system and start branding Microsoft on phones by Nokia Devices & Services — now known as Microsoft Devices.
Though this looks unwise, considering that billions of people are familiar with the name called Nokia, Microsoft might have a real plan on deck so that’s why you should never underestimate a company that spends millions every year on analysts and strategists.
But then, think of it. If Microsoft wanted something it could easily transform, it could have bought a less recognized phone making company even for less.
With that being said, the picture you’ve seen above might be fake, considering the source (Nowhere.fr) is even unsure of it’s validity. However, “Microsoft phones” are strongly expected and will be here sooner or later.
