Maxwest ‘Ippo Y88’ TAB-7155DC is a 7-inch tablet that cost $65
True very cheap Android tablets are flying everywhere now – online stores, stores, trade fairs(or trade show, trade exhibition or expo, or whatever you call it), and everywhere you can imagine; But one caught our eyes recently, it’s the one you probably never heard of, you haven’t even heard of the maker’s name before – one thing common with cheap Android tablets.
The one being talked about is Maxwest’s TAB-7155DC aka. Ippo Y88 which measures 182 x 122 x 10 mm and weighs 187 grms and comes in several colors – white, black, silver, red, blue and pink.
This $65 sensation runs Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system on 1GHz dual-core Cortex A5 CPU and 512 megabytes of RAM while being powered by a 2800mAh battery.
The 7-inch capacitive multitouch LCD touchscreen displays a resolution of 1024 x 600-pixel via a Mali 400 graphics processing unit.
It features a 4GB of built-in storage which as usual, can be bombarded with a microSD card which can hold up to 32 gigabytes of data. It has both front-facing and rear VGA cameras but that can’t answer for the absence of Bluetooth connectivity even though the tablet’ supports WiFi b/g/n and features a HDMI port and mico USB port
