The new processor was unveiled with a 64-bit big.LITTLE design using four cores of Cortex-A53 CPU running at 1.5GHz and another pack of four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.3GHz. The image job on the new processor is done by a ARM Mali T760 GPU which can be found in some older MediaTek chip models.
Finally, the MT6753 will provide LTE support for any smartphone housing it. There’s also support for GSM 2G and 3G bands as well as for CDMA2000 1x and EVDO Rev A networks.
