Meizu has a new smartphone for 8th December (Monday) event
Chinese phone maker Meizu has announced it will be holding an event tomorrow being the 8th day of December even though no plans about what is going to happen at the programme, other than that the company has a “quality smartphone” in tow, has been outed.
While the fuss may not be for the Ubuntu-running Meizu Mx4 Pro which is scheduled for early next year, reports from GSMArena noted that a device called the Meizu k52 (might not be final name) might be unveiled at the event.
A footprint of the device left at GFXbench shows that the Meizu k52 has a 4.6″ 1080p display, 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 chip, 2GB of memory and a storage of 12GB. The device is rumored to be packing a $160 price but then, we’ll have to wait till Monday to confirm that.
