Meizu sticks to the calendar, launches the beastly M5
There are actually a few times when the rumour mill fails to get the timing correct on a piece of smartphone and this time, they have done well again because we have seen Meizu launch the much anticipated M5 and in all our full glare is this very beautiful piece of computer architecture.
This is surely a big improvement over the M3 because the screen speaks volumes itself, carrying 5.2 inches and under this big screen is a fingerprint reader that recognises you in a space of just 0.2 seconds. Right now, we think that it has started to justify its price tag of CNY 700 which is about $105 elsewhere.
Going further down this larger screen, you would find out that the device is being powered by a Mediatek chipset MT6750 and thus is able to support the 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage space that the device has been given.
There is also another variant with 3GB instead and as for space, this one offers more with 32GB.
On the back of the device is a 13MP camera and while it has a dual LED flash to make your might pictures shine out with better quality, the front has not been left bare as there is a 5MP unit there also.
Coming in five different colour variants of Matte Black, Mint Green, Blue, Champagne Gold and White for users to choose in, this is surely one of the best offerings we could get as the year folds out.
