Micromax Canvas Tab P666 is an 11,000-rupee tablet for India
Micromax just announced and subsequently released an 8-inch slate in the company’s home country of India. The Micromax Canvas Tab P666 comes a few months after the phone maker unveiled a Canvas P650 Tab and took a break from tablets since then.

1.2 Ghz Intel Atom Processor Z2520 CPU
1GB of RAM
8GB storage, expandable up to 32GB
5MP rear and 2MP front-facing camera
The tablet comes in either white or black color and is already on sale for INR 10,999 (roughly $177) across approved Micromax retailers in the country, offline and online.
Microsoft is currently the second biggest vendor of tablets in India after overtaking Apple way back in September. Samsung leads the tablet market in the region with 19 % market share during 2014 Q2 estimates by IDC.
